Systems for remote monitoring and management

We have developed more upgradeable and compatible solutions for remote monitoring and management systems, which enable the combined use of various communication channels:

• mobile telephone networks of various generations (GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS),
• radio communications over licensed or public frequency bands,
• dedicated fibre optic or cable connections,
• telephone lines (PSTN, ISDN),
• internet connections (ADSL, optical, cable, WLAN internet access), etc.

During the implementation of remote control and management systems, we use various guidance, communication and control equipment. The final solution is chosen with the client in regard to the existing status, needs and available communication options.

Systems for remote control and management of facilities with management centres include:

• local automation of facilities with the functions:
  • management, collection of process data and events at the facilities with time tags for transfer to the centre,
  • communication with connected facilities (e.g. pumping stations – water storage),
  • communication with the management centre;
• management centre with the main functions:
  • communication with facilities,
  • topographic map with a graphic display of facilities,
  • display of the values of process quantities, equipment status, operational regime, alerts and events at the facilities,
  • sending commands regarding equipment status and operational regime from the centre to the facilities,
  • archiving of the flow of process quantities,
  • recording of events, alerts, daily hours of operation, cumulative flows, process quantities, etc., in relation to the database.

Applicability of the solutions

We develop technologically advanced and energy efficient solutions for various areas of technological environmental infrastructures, including:
water supply and sewerage facilities (new constructions, rehabilitation and upgrading of existing projects):

• watercourses, wells, pumping stations, water stations, reservoirs, booster stations, pumps, treatment plants, management centres, collection and treatment systems, water retainers;
• other environmental infrastructures:
• incinerators, centres for waste management, emissions reduction facilities, waste water, etc.
